The first medals have been awarded, and there are hundreds yet to come. I haven’t seen one in the wild yet, but hey, it’s still early. I will definitely show you the first one I come across.
In the meantime, I learned a little bit about the Paris 2024 bling.

Organizers wanted the medals to symbolize the city but also appear worthy of a high-end jewelry shop around the Champs-Élysées, so they got luxury jeweler Chaumet to design them.
